Photo Album (Part III) 1972-2000

Vigile in the sky- Two F-16s with 8 sidewinder air to air missiles between them, in addition to their cannons, present quite a proposition to the intruding agressors

Coast Gaurd - This Mirage III keeps the sea coast clear of enemy ships. That huge 'thing' on the central pod is also known as AM-39 Exocet - it has a habit of eating enemy ships for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The smaller rockets are AIM-9L sidewinder air to air missiles, which means it is quite capable to defend itself while ship hunting. Pakistan has now the largest fleet of Mirages in the world.

Venomous Victors -These cobras from the no 15 squadron are not the kind of poison one should mess around with

Grey Matter - These sidewinder armed A-7 Airgaurds with Pakistani pilots in the cockpit are a lethal cocktail indeed for any adversary

Birds of a feather - These chinese thoroughbreds have served PAF well, from the A-5 fantan ground attack in the foreground to the latest F-7 airgaurd in the back ground with the old warior F-6 in the middle

Fantastic Fantans - These A-5 are practicing to add some heat to another hotspot on the ground

K-8 Korakorum - next generation trainer for Pakistani pilots - we can call it 'Mianwali Walah'

F-16 Fighting Falcon - socking the Sargodha Sun in front of its hardened air shelter

This Fantan flight is being prepared for some firworks. The stuff in the foreground is Matra Durandal anti runway missiles, cluster bombs and air to air missiles while the ground crew are feeding in the cannon amo into its chamber.

Herculean effort - C-130 Hercules return from another flight through the 'roof of the world'

Chaklala - Home of the Hercules

Mushaak- Home made basic trainer
