Birth of the Dhul'Hijjah moon is going to take place on 31st December 05 at precisely 03:12 and 46 seconds GMT . Although the crescent moon will not be able to be sighted anywhere in the Islamic world, it is very likely to be sighted in parts of Americas and on the Southern areas of the African countries. However, on the following day, 1st of January 2006, the crescent would have been well formed overnight and will be easily sighted throughout the world. This would mean that Dhull Hijjah will most probably start on two different days for different people in the world. However, knowing the Saudi formula, Dhull Hijjah will start in Saudi Arabia on 1st January 2006 despite the fact that it would be impossible to sight the crescent in Saudi Arabia the previous day, 31st December 2005. This would give us Hujj (Yum-al-Arrafah) on 9th January and Eid-ul-Adha on 10th for the countries that follow Saudi Arabia and on 11th for rest of the world.
