Eid-Ul-Fitr

The birth of the moon (Geocentric Conjunction) will take place on Monday 03 October 2005 at 10:28 and 57 seconds. Moonsighting on that day will NOT be possible from any country of the world let alone any Islamic country. However, the following day, Tuesday 04 October 2005, new moon will be visible from most part of the world and almost the entire Islamic world.
This means that Ramadan will
start (provided there is no division based on false sighting claims)
on Wednesday 5th October throughout the world.

For Eid-ul-Fitr, birth of the Shawwal moon is precisely at 1:25and 37 seconds on November 2nd 2005. This means that a sighting is possible on that very day BUT only in parts of the world. However, on the following day [November 3rd] global sighting will be possible. This, unfortunately, means that a possible division in UK is the most likely scenario once again - I pray and hope that I am wrong.
